Transcendentalism

1. The transcendentalist believed that god spoke through people's minds and there hard work. They also believed that all humans were pure and that even though Adam and Eve were sinners that this did not affect all. Transcendentalist also thought that people can communicate with god through nature and that society is distracting you from coming in contact with him. In the writing's they focus more on nature and becoming all you can be, that god will help you as an individual to become great. "Society everywhere is in conspiracy against manhood of everyone of its members", This is saying that society is a distraction to all humans and stops you from using your intuition.

2.From Nature is an example of transcendentalism because it says that god can speak to humans through nature. This story focuses on letting everyone know that you can actually relate to nature in you feelings and life." I become a transparent eyeball; I am nothing; the currents of the universal being circulate through me; I am part or parcel of god. This saying that he is in the wilderness and that his body is physically there but he's free as if though he is a bush, flower, or a tree,another part of nature.

3.From the Self Reliance is an example of transcendentalism because it's saying that speaks to people through there words or hard work. It's saying take pride in your work and do what you think is right and god will always help you. Whoso would be a man/woman must be a nonconformist. this means that everybody must have some difference in themselves and to follow your heart and intuition for that is only god speaking to you.
