Realism
2. In this story Fredrick Dougalas is telling the readers the real thing in whinch that happend to him as a slave and others that were tammed to be broken. His master Mr. Covey made them work in all types of weather no mater what. it could never rain too much, hail to hard, or snow to much. Again this may not be somthing that the people back then wanted to hear nor some people of the present but its the truth and real.
3. Today's realism movie would be a Menace II Society and Boyz in tha Hood. These movies let you know what is really going on around the world in the places that the government don't really care about. In these movies they give you all of the facts about what they are going through in places like the hood or projects. It might not be what some people want to see but it is real. The stuff actually going on in those movies are examples of whats going on in the real world. When the men pulled up on Kane and his cousin Harald and shot and killed him for his car. Stuff like that is really happening.

Dark Romantilism
2. The Masque of the Red Death was about a evil disease that spreaded through a country and killed massive amounts of the people. The the prince tries to save the few who didn't die in side his castle. It turns out that he was killing everyone that he ends up saving because of his evil thoughts. The dark romantics disagree with the transcendentalist because they didn't think that everyone was pure and had a little bit of god in them. They thought that if god was living through people then why do people have evil thoughts and do evil things.
"Now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had came like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. This saying that the red death was acknowledged by the prince. He started to kill everyone in the party feeling like he was the Red Death.
3.This poem is talking about the raven it is the bird of death I guess thats what this poem is trying to say. Its the opposite of transcendentalist because its talking more and more about death and not anything about god living through people. This poem is also using imagination which the transcendentalist don't because they use there intution."That I scarce was sure I heard you"--here I opened wide the door--Darkness there and nothing more". This qoute is saying that death is upon him and he can see it but doesn't know what it is at the point.

To Whom It May Concern; Hello my name is Demetrius Edwards and after I graduate from high school I plan to continue on with my education. I want to at least get accepted into a junior college if not a university so I can be all that I want to become, and that is a business man. That’s always been my goal. It started when I was only seven years old, when I was playing softball and we had a fundraiser and I sold out quicker then everyone on the team. I’m going to tell more on why I choose this to be my future and why you should let me have a chance. Some people may ask why and say you graduated isn’t that enough of school.
The reason I want to continue with my education is because I want to become successful. My definition of success is to become my dream or goal so that whenever I want to do something or travel somewhere it will be no problem. After a couple of years in college I plan to major in business. It may seem like a hard subject to learn but every thing is possible when your mind is set for it. Creating a business is not the easiest thing to do because it takes steps just to startup a business plan and you also have to worry about the investment opportunity evaluation by investors for process and success rates.
I think that I would be well qualified for my choice. First, I do my best on trying to ensure someone that what I am doing can have strengths and weaknesses or/and opportunities and threats to my business plan. Second, I don’t try to focus on what only is going to happen with my plan in a couple of months or a year but for decades. I spend lots of time thinking and planning on what type of business I would one day try to put on the market hoping I get some investors interested in my company.
This letter is to assure you that I do have plans after high school and to make my goals come true when I do go to college. Motivation Is the key to what is pushing me so hard to graduate and continue my education to live my goal. Me owning my own business and becoming successful are my number on goals. I think you all who have taken your time to read my letter and hope that you enjoyed yourself.
Transcendentalism
2.From Nature is an example of transcendentalism because it says that god can speak to humans through nature. This story focuses on letting everyone know that you can actually relate to nature in you feelings and life." I become a transparent eyeball; I am nothing; the currents of the universal being circulate through me; I am part or parcel of god. This saying that he is in the wilderness and that his body is physically there but he's free as if though he is a bush, flower, or a tree, another part of nature.
3.From the Self Reliance is an example of transcendentalism because it's saying that speaks to people through there words or hard work. It's saying take pride in your work and do what you think is right and god will always help you. Whoso would be a man/woman must be a nonconformist. this means that everybody must have some difference in themselves and to follow your heart and intuition for that is only god speaking to you.

Jeff Gordon became the youngest driver ever to obtain a United States Auto Club license. He gained much experience by driving every kind of competitive vehicle, from dirt cars in Indiana to sprint cars in Australia. In the year 1990 he became the youngest Midget Series champion in USAC history. He also earned the Busch Grand National Rookie of the Year honors in 1991, winning the poles position eleven times. Jeff accomplished a lot of things in the minor league. He would soon leave the minor league of motorsports and aim a bit higher.
In the year of 1992, Jeff would sign a deal to drive a car for Hendricks Motorsports. He would then have his introduction to the Winston Cup circuit and the Hooters 500, the same race in which Richard Petty’s career ended. He was also a terrific NASCAR driver someone who Gordon looked up to. That season Jeff won Rookie of the Year on the Winston Cup circuit. In 1993 Gordon finished fifth at Daytona and second in the Coca-Cola 600 with capturing eight top ten finishes. I bet that year was a taste of fame and fortune for him. He won his first NASCAR race, the Coca-Cola 600, and the inaugural Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1994. Through out the years he continued to work harder and harder and would soon achieve more and more.
During the year 1998, Jeff would become the youngest driver to win Daytona 500 and was the first to win three consecutive Southern 500s, winning his fourth straight in 98. He tied the modern-era record with this win, by winning eight out of ten races for four months straight (June- September). NASCAR selected him as “Driver of the 90s,” edging out Dale Earnhardt. At one point of time Earnhardt was the focus of the NASCAR racing until Gordon showed him up. Due to the help of his determination and good driving team assistance built this major success.
Jeff Gordon is one of the greatest NASCAR drivers there will ever be. He achieved mostly all of his goals. Always having faith and giving determination to something that he really loves.
I researched Jeff Gordon because I’m also a person who has faith and determination to try my hardest and always give my best effort to strive for something I want to do and enjoy. That’s what kinder makes him one of my role models, because he never gave up and what ever he wanted to accomplish he gave a hundred/ten percent to get him there.

American Romanticism

He did to hurt his family in many ways from being carelessness and he would soon ruin his family off these mistakes. After sleeping for a day (as he thought) but for twenty years, Rip return to his vilage were every thing had changed. He shared his story with the vilage and all vistors to try to let them see his long journy through his wordswithout physically being there. No one can just sleep for 220 years unless your in a comma.

Demetrius Edwards writting 1
With Jerry Reinsdorf at the owner position and Jerry Krause hired as Vice President/Basketball Operations the Bulls would then seek a coach that they could hold on to. Phil Jackson was named head coach after the replacement of Doug Collins on July 10, 1989. As a player Jackson had already spent 13 years in the NBA and 11 of those years with the New York Knicks. He was named Continental Basketball Association’s coach of the year in 1985; when his Albany Patroons of the NBA Development League went on to win the championship. Now the Bulls had Jackson to help them reach their goals along with some good solid players.
A player that you should be familiar with is Michal Jordan. If you are not familiar with Jordan playing for the Bulls then I’m sure you are with his sneakers. He had more than twenty pair of shoes named after him. Six pairs were worn during the Bull’s six championships by Jordan. He represented his team not only for winning championships but for winning individual awards like the slam dunk contest. He was selected to many all-star games; this man scored 65 points in one game. It’s safe to say he is one of the greatest of all time to play the game of basketball. He didn’t only score for the Bulls, but also was a terrific defensive player. For those championship seasons Jordan was on the All-Defensive First Team for the years of 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, and 98. Team work and defense was a major role played by Jordan and as a team captain, he stressed that a lot during practice and games.
Scottie Pippen was also apart of this legacy. He was signed by the Bulls on October 14, 1987 when Phil Jackson was assistant coach. Pippen helped lead this legacy in many different ways and was scattered across the NBA’s all-time leader board. He became fourth in steals (2, 307), ranked third in Bulls history with 5,726 rebounds and 774 blocked shots. A big role that Pippen played during building this legacy was playing team ball and doing all he could to stop the opposing team from scoring points. That’s why he was named one of the fifty greatest players of the 90’s.
The Bulls will always be remembered not only for what Michael did but how the team went on two three peats. They built this legacy by having phenomenal players, on greatness, and determination. They are now trying to build that greatness once again; with the phenomenal players being drafted out of college I wouldn’t be surprised if the bulls make themselves top contenders again. If those players don’t have determination then they won’t contribute to greatness nor reach the championship.

The Rationalists
3.) Because relied upon himself and his own beliefs of knowing that he is was not perfect and that he wanted to work on it to arrive at perfection. Example from text; Because we can have any dependence on a steady uniform rectitude of conduct. For this purpose I therefor contrived the following method of creating virtues to arrive at moral perfection.
4.)
- 1. unselfishness-fell free to give out/away something of yours.
- 2.wisdom-share your smartness
- 3.fairness-treat all the same.
- 4.attention-focus upon what you think is important.
- 5.forgiveness-no one is perfect, you can forgive but maybe wont forget.
- 6.health-take care of the body and mind.
- 7.responsibility-take responsibility for all of your actions.
- 8.self-confidence-comes from an attitude where you "promise yourself, no matter how difficult the problem life throws at you go for it."
- 9.self-respect-be gentle with your mind and body.
- 10.thankfulness-thank god every day for letting you see another day.
- 11.truthfulness-don't lie among yourself nor to others.
- 12.fortitude- ability to confront
- 13.encouragement-encourage others to do good even if its not returned!
I think that you can live up to moral perfection by making up virtues. If you do all of these things each and every day maybe even more then its a good chance that every thing in life that you ever wanted could actually come to you.Making virtues aren't to bad. They don't only help you at achieving moral perfection but also at being a better human being.

2.These people beliefs were kind of insane, because they were basically saying that almost everyone was going to hell. They said that Jesus didn't die for everyone that it was only a certain few. It may be true that everyone was born to sin but I still think there is always a time to earn gods grace. The way that the puritans thought I'm not saying its wrong I just don't believe that its accurate
3. Total depravity, since Adam and Eve became sinners then everyone was born sinful.Unconditional election, God saved only a certain few the others would be thrown into the pits of hell.
