American Romanticism

2. Rip Van Winkle was a very kind hearted person. He'd tell different types of stories to the kids and let them just lay and play all over him. He helped everyone in the neighborhood before he even took care of his own business, like looking after his own farm. He felt that every time he wanted to attend to it a different reason woul come upone him to want to quit. He didn't start any trouble.
He did to hurt his family in many ways from being carelessness and he would soon ruin his family off these mistakes. After sleeping for a day (as he thought) but for twenty years, Rip return to his vilage were every thing had changed. He shared his story with the vilage and all vistors to try to let them see his long journy through his wordswithout physically being there
. No one can just sleep for 220 years unless your in a comma.

3. I think the poem is saying that death is not somthing to be afraid of, accualy it could be a good thing. Because you would then be a common person and looked at the same not differnt from kings or queens. Whats romanticism about it is that it helps you set your imagination about what the poem is saying. Nature is accualy speaking in this poem and trying to allow you to communicate with death, to know that it's not such a bad thing. This a perfect excample, because we know that accualy talking to nature is not something that can be accomplished.

4. To show how you can use your imagination whenever. To imagine what you may be doing could be used to help others. When he says Like the port-holes of a hulk,Human spiders spin and spin,Backward down their threads so thin Dropping, each a hempen bulk. Its trying to make you imagine how the ropes were being created and how man made stuff can be compared to spiders. Because it helps you understand a way to set your imagination for what you are doing and what it may be used for. This is a excample because its trying to make you focus a little more on clearing your mind and seeing what he's saying.

5. The picture tries to help you set an imagination of what the artist is trying to say without using any words. They show that this a type of romantism because they have stuff going on that you know that doesn't really go on in a normal life and its sort of a way to set your imagination up to see what Van Winkle is coming from. To set your mind on something thats not real and make it become true.

You just need to add a little to your explanation of how Rip Van Winkle and Thanatopsis are Romantic. You give good evidence, but stop a little short of explaining how that proves it to be a good example.

You just need to add a sentence or two after your examples.

Leave me another comment when you have made these small additions.
